Tallaght man Stephen Martin is back fundraising for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI).
In recent years, Stephen has organised events and fundraising initiatives and encouraged runners, families and children to get involved.
In 2019 he organised a challenge dubbed ‘I Am The 1 in 10’, the challenge was a part of ‘Marathon Man to Ironman’, a fundraising initiative established by Martin as a platform to raise vital funds for charity partner, Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI). The fitness venture saw Martin’s annual Family Fun Run in Corkagh Park gather over 200 participants while raising €1,649 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI). Day 10, the final day of the ‘I Am The 1 in 10’ challenge, saw Martin battle the last lap of this extraordinary challenge in Corkagh Park. Family, friends and people of all ages and abilities travelled to the event to join Stephen in this awe-inspiring accomplishment.
On the 29th of November the The Elf on the Shelf 5k will take place in Corkagh Park, Clondalkin. They’ll have medals for everyone who joins with goodie bags for all the kids and a visit from the big man.
All funds raised on the day go to will go to Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland.
