The Proclamation – Easter Monday 2020

CCIFV Dail Visit NFMD

Tallaght based group, the Committee for Commemoration of Irish Famine Victims (C.C.I.F.V) are asking people to do the following;

“For the Proclamation to be read by Irishmen and Irishwomen and the generations of exiles next Easter Monday 13th April at 12 noon, in homes, home and abroad, at the threshold of the front door or apartment balcony.

In commemoration of our 1916 patriot dead, and to honour our front-line workers who sacrifice themselves daily in the cause of the common good and health of the people of Ireland.

It costs nothing to participate in reading the people’s proclamation, only a thought and a show of gratitude for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice 104 years ago and those who are living heroes today.”
