Further Education at Greenhills College Beginning September 2019

Greenhills College is a large provider of daytime Further Education courses.  Whether coming directly from the Leaving Certificate or from a long absence out of education, you will be assured of a warm welcome and a supporting staff, who will help you to achieve your goals and dreams.  All courses are QQI accredited. Full and part-time courses are offered at QQI levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. Eligible students on full-time courses can apply for the SUSI grant. The College also has V.T.O.S. places.

 

They offer a range of Pre-University courses, in the areas of Nursing, Arts, Science, Sports Science, Computing and Business, whereby students can use their QQI qualification as an alternative to the Leaving Certificate for Third Level entry purposes. New this year is the introduction of the Animal Anatomy and Physiology module to our Science course as well as the Psychology module to a number of courses. Engineering students study Electronics one afternoon per week in TU Dublin, Tallaght Campus.

 

Both Software Development and Computer Networks courses, at level 5, include a Gaming module. Our Engineering students spend one afternoon per week in IT Tallaght studying an Electronics module. Greenhills also provide a Level 6 Computer Networks course. For those returning to education, part-time Level 3 and 4 courses offer a variety of modules as well as English language tuition. The level 4 course also offers modules in the Healthcare area for those who may be interested in progressing to a Level 5 course, but who would like to improve their language skills and healthcare knowledge.

 

Greenhills College has extensive free parking and is adjacent to the 9, 15A, 27, 54A, 77A and 150 bus routes. Facilities include Computer rooms, Engineering room, Care Skills Room, Study rooms, Science laboratories, WIFI, photocopying and printing as well as Career Guidance.
