At the recent Tallaght area committee meeting, local rep Charlie O’Connor requested an update on the approved housing development at Brady’s Field, Old Bawn Road in Tallaght. Cllr O Connor asked “To ask the Chief Executive to present an update on plans for the approved Housing Development at Brady’s Field, Old Bawn Road; will he confirm the schedule being followed and give assurances that he is giving consideration to views expressed by the community and also by Tymon Bawn FC ?”
The local authority confirmed he following “The Council has recently appointed an architect with a structural engineer and quantity surveyor to be appointed by the end of November. The full design team will then progress the design to tender. It is anticipated that the project will be tendered in Quarter 1. 2021. The views expressed by the community and by Tymon Bawn FC during the Part 8 consultation process will be further considered”.
