Vile thuggery that’s how Cllr. Vicki Casserly has described the vandalism at Griffeen Valley playground recently.
“Playgrounds are community assets. Vile thuggery like this is an attack on not just the amenity but our community spirit. We shouldn’t need to create playgrounds in fortknox in order to protect them from the public. This is my local playground where I play with my kids just like so many of my neighbours. It’s soul destroying to think that others want to take that away from our children.”
