This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Clonburris National School!

Clonburris National School Clondalkin

Clonburris National School will mark this anniversary by hosting a celebration on Friday 12th October. The celebration will welcome all current and past families for a fun filled evening.

Cllr Timmons Past Pupil said ’’I Can’t believe it has been 40 years since Clonburris National School opened, I am delighted the school is holding this event to mark such a significant milestone. I was glad to have a motion passed at September’s Clondalkin area meeting that said “That this Area Committee writes to and congratulates ”Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Clonburris National School” on its 40th Anniversary and wishes all current and past teachers and students well.”

Cllr Timmons says ‘’Thousands of young people received their education in this school over the last 40 years, many went onto great things, some sadly have passed on and we remember them at this time. The celebration is a chance to catch up with friends made at the school and the amazing families and teachers who have made our school so special over the years.’’

Tickets€15.00 and are available from Lorraine Nugent, Olivia McGonagle or from the school directly. For more information see their Facebook page.
