Earlier in the year in June Palmerstown Camera club presented an exhibition in the Lucan Library. In that exhibition they asked members of the public to pick their favorite image and enter the win a print competition, the winner was Colette Monks of Lucan. The image was taken by Joy Collins and it was called The Next Michael Flately. Joy presented the winning image to Colette in Lucan Library; Colette said she was very pleased to have won the image and has a place on the wall for it at home.
