Tallaght Litter Mugs are a community group that conducts regular clean up events to reduce the amount litter in the local environment. The group has just launched their Litter Mug Challenge campaign. This is an anti-litter awareness campaign that is supported by the new short video and was funded by South Dublin County Council. The video challenges individuals to pick up a single piece of of litter every day. It then asks people to use the power of social media to spread the message in a viral way. It’s a simple concept based upon the Ice Bucket Challenge from a few years back – except it’s much easier and a lot drier!
