In recent months due to the Covid19 pandemic 6th class students from St Mary’s National School in Tallaght were unable to make their confirmation and graduate. Parents got together and made contact with the church to see if the children could receive a blessing.
On the 2nd of July, the Tallaght pupils received their blessing in the Priory in Tallaght village followed by a socially distanced party on the church grounds. The parents would like to thank the businesses that sponsored the party including Supervalu Fortunestown, Roma Springfield, Rose Confectionary and IKEA.
