Spooktacular Halloween Fun at Luggwoods

Luggwoods, a family attraction in Saggart famous for its Christmas Winter wonderland experience, is this year running a Halloween themed event again this year.

Local Councillor, Emer Higgins attended the launch with Darcy(7)  and Jack (4) and raved about it. “We all loved the Halloween event in the Luggwoods Enchanted Forest. It was great to see so many kids carving their pumpkins and chasing the witches in the wood. It’s fantastic to have such an innovative family attraction right here on our doorstep and I’d really encourage people who go to seasonal events to keep it local and choose Luggwoods. Congrats to our local entrepreneurs Peter Finn and Elaine O’Reilly Luggwoods Manager. They are providing a fun and affordable family day out whilst helping to develop children’s creativity and imagination.”

“We are so delighted that our Halloween season is going well. We’re open right through to Halloween night and then we’ll be getting ready for Christmas, when we transform our Enchanted Forest from our autumnal Adventureland into winter wonderland. Last year was a sell out so we’re encouraging people to get their tickets early for this year,” said Elaine O’Reilly of Luggwoods. “Luggwoods is named after the ancient Lugg Forest in Saggart and we have a special enchanted train that transports families through the Coillte owned Lugg Forest to our very own purpose built barn event centre on top of Lugg Hill. The views are spectacular and we run special family events every Easter, Halloween and Christmas,” concluded Elaine.
