As we continue through this current situation and the schools are closed, Newsgroup is delighted to open a short story or poem competition.
We are inviting children to submit a short story or a poem on a subject of their choice to win a €50 voucher for Smyths Toy Store. The story or poem will be published in our four local newspapers Tallaght News, Clondalkin News, Rathcoole & Saggart News, Lucan News and online on www.newsgroup.ie.
You choose the theme! The short story or poem must be submitted before the 2nd of April 2020 by email to info@newsgroup.ie. Please include the child’s name and age on the entry.
