Sensory Fun with Friends is a voluntary parent led group that are registered as a non for profit company limited by guarantee and have public liability insurance. The aim is to provide affordable, sensory friendly activities for children with complex additional needs i.e. ASD, SPD, Down syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities (mild-severe range), Cerebal Palsy and general sensory challenges and their typically developed siblings, where no camp or facility can cater to their needs.
They also have joined up with many business based in Tallaght to host sensory friendly mornings to facilitate haircuts, barbering and cinema trips. In the coming months they are hosting Easter and summer camps and some of the activities include swimming, yoga, gardening, circuits and excursions all based in Tallaght.
