Coca-Cola announced Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) as one of this year’s Thank You Fund recipients at Zeminar 2019, a health and wellbeing event for Ireland’s youth. The Coca-Cola Thank You Fund, now in its ninth year, distributes €100,000 among 13 various community groups across Ireland, funding innovative projects which support and inspire young people. Following SBHI’s presentation to a panel of judges at Coca-Cola Ireland, they were declared successful in obtaining funding at Zeminar 2019. Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) was awarded €10,000 by the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund, enabling the organisation to pilot a brand-new programme entitled ‘Mind Your Health’.
SBHI serves over 1,000 members who live with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, they also support thousands of other people who are affected by the conditions including family, friends, carers, and the education and medical professionals who interact with our members on a regular basis.
