Ruby & Russell Spearheading Cheltenham At Barberstown

Cheltenham

Barberstown Castle will once again host one of the most insightful Cheltenham Previews of the year with an all-star panel of experts getting together at the County Kildare venue on Friday 24th February.

With less than two months to go until ‘The Olympics’ of National Hunt racing, Ruby Walsh will host this pulsating preview with the comeback king Davy Russell leading a star-studded cast of pundits. Joining the two Cheltenham Festival greats will be Barry Geraghty, the second most successful jockey in the history of the festival, along with racing expert and punters pal Gavin Lynch.

“We hosted our first Cheltenham Preview night last year and it sold out almost immediately. Given that this will be the first time Ruby hosts a preview event, instead of appearing on a panel, we can’t wait to see what happens then the gamekeeper turns into the hunter! And while I can’t promise another rendition of Wonderwall by Davy Russell, I can guarantee another brilliant night,” said Amanda Torrens, Director of Barberstown Castle.

Proceeds on the night will go directly towards the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund and for more information, please contact Barberstown Castle on 01-6288157.
