RAMS Entertain at Darkness into Light

The Rams in Rhythm supported the “Darkness into Light” Pieta House run and fundraiser at Corkagh Park on Saturday 7th May 2022.

Matt Dowling from RAMS commented “It was a tremendously successful event with over 1300 participants taking part. The Rams in Rhythm were delighted to to take part, requested by Deputy Emer Higgins, to participate, entertain, and perform for all the participants”. 

“Oh what a beautiful Morning” it , with various other singing groups entertaining along the route. With the Rams in Rhythm at the final stop, with tea & coffee being served, those who still had energy left, danced and line danced at 6 am in the morning, to Rock me Mama like a Wagon wheel, and The best part of the day, Is the night. RAMS in Rhythm also got great support for their families, with many of the members’ children and Grandchildren coming out to support “GrandDad”.

Matt continued “Another wonderful day for us Rams in Rhythm, as a social inclusion morning, sun shining, and great entertainment. The RAMS are so pleased to be out, about and active again, after such a long lockdown, and supporting many good causes. For our finale, the RAMS did their new number “Oh What a Wonderful World”, and “Some Where over the Rainbow”.
