Permanent TSB’s Newly Launched Community Fund

Permanent TSB recently announced the results of the vote to select the charities that will benefit from the 2020 Permanent TSB Community Fund. An astonishing 20,000 Votes were cast across Ireland throughout the month of December following a call by the Bank for the public  to get involved. Jack & Jill Foundation emerged as the Dublin partner and one of five winners.
Announcing the five winners, Courtnee Kyle, Corporate Social Responsibility & Communications Manager, Permanent TSB, said, “20,000 votes is an incredible number and far exceeded our expectations. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote from every corner of the Country. The Permanent TSB Community Fund will support local communities by providing funding to community organisations that are having a positive and meaningful impact on the ground and who are working hard to make a difference. It will operate in each of our five regions across Ireland and provide €100,000 in funding to five local charities. As part of Permanent TSB’s commitment to Responsible Business, we are focused on supporting our communities by having a positive and meaningful impact. The Permanent TSB Community Fund will play a key role in the delivery of that ambition.”

Ms Kyle continued, “The Community Fund was built with the involvement of our 2,500 colleagues from right across the Bank, supported by 20,000 votes from customers and we are delighted to announce that The Jack and Jill Foundation, Mallow Search and Rescue, Arch Club, Aoife’s Clown Doctors and Mayo-Roscommon Hospice and Millford Care Centre as our 2020 Community Fund partners. It is the intention of the Bank to run this campaign annually to support the work of well deserving community organisations across the Country.
