Sarah joined Unislim in March 2015 in Naas and so her weight loss journey began and what a journey that has been! Sarah added “They say you should never look back, unless its to see just how far you’ve come. Well now as I look back and do just that I can remember the emotions of the 28th Feb 2015, the night before I walked through the door to Unislim Naas and met my leader Ann Maire Sheehan for the very first time.”
Sarah stepped on the scales and the numbers 17st4lbs flashed back at her, she commnented “I was shocked, upset but also determined to never see those numbers again. I received fantastic support from my group leader and class members, as the weeks and months went by the lbs dropped, the stones dropped.”
Sarah found a new lease of life and began to live her life again and truly discovered who she is not just the mum, wife, daughter, sister but now she is Sarah! This determined lady was loving life, walking, going to dance classes and planning the wedding of her dreams. Sarah married her partner in a church wedding on July 1st surrounded by family and friends, she wore her dream dress in a size 12, a long way from the size 26 that she began her weight loss journey at.
Sarah has since become a Unislim leader in Clane, Co Kildare and is now opening in the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght on the 26th of April. She concluded “I have since become a leader for Unislim here in Clane and my members are doing fantastic, I’m extremely proud of each one of my members and I certainly understand the journey.
