Windsor Motor Group Leaps To Support Cyclists
Cyclists and organisers taking part in the annual Leap On Your Bike event called into Windsor Long Mile Road Nissan on Thursday, July 20th, to collect their support vehicles and a donation from Windsor Motor Group Managing Director, Peter Nicholson.
Windsor Motor Group provided a Nissan Qashqai as a pace car to lead the 30 cyclists on their 330km journey from Annascaul, Co. Kerry on Saturday, July 22nd to Leixlip, Co Kildare on Sunday, July 23rd. Participants were able to lighten their load by storing their luggage and spare gear in the Nissan NV200 and NV300 support vehicles.
‘We hope the vehicles help make the journey more enjoyable for the cyclists throughout the weekend and we are delighted our donation will help three great charities; Saint John of Gods, Cycle Against Suicide and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust raise much-needed funds’ said Peter Nicholson,
ahead of the event. The annual Leap On Your Bike event is organised by Cathal O’ Shea and encourages all cycling enthusiasts to take part, raise money for charity and make new friends throughout the weekend. This year event has so far raised €10,000.
