At the event Minister Zappone paid tribute “Supporting, protecting and caring for children was central to Joe’s 45-years in public service. He delivered play areas, leisure centres and most importantly he prioritised the most vulnerable and those in the greatest of need. This is a fitting tribute to a man who devoted himself to his country, his community and his family.”
