Kishoge Community College was delighted to see some of their first ever Leaving Certificate students back to congratulate them on their results. The class of 2020 were the first to graduate from the school, which opened to 1st years in 2014. After months of uncertainty and worry around results, the wait was over Monday 7th September.
The pay off came to the many students who worked over the last two years for the grades they wanted, with some exceptional results from some. Top of her class and receiving the highest possible points of 625 is Adebimpe Onikan, who is hoping to get offered a place in Medicine. Other students who achieved over 500 points were Isabel Azu, Anna Maria Buda, Kathleen Draga, Akinwande Majola and Nureen Tengku Nazri. There was further success for LCA students Kyle O’Leary, Sean McDonnell and Dylan Quinn, who all received Distinctions in their exams.
Their Year Head Lisa Nolan said “It has been an absolute pleasure to see these young adults grow over the years. I am so proud of all that they have achieved and it is so well deserved. All our Leaving Cert students have left their mark on Kishoge. As our first 6th Years, they were an exceptional year in every way and I loved coming into school every day to see them.” The whole school community is proud of its Leaving Cert class of 2020 and wish the best of luck to all students eagerly waiting for CAO offers.
