Joels raises €2000 for BUMBLEance

Joels Bumbleance

One of Dublin’s most iconic family restaurants has raised an impressive €2,000 through the sale of a Calendar Colouring Book! The donation will go to BUMBLEance – the Children’s Ambulance Service. In October 2023, the restaurant held a colouring competition, inviting children to colour in their favourite pictures from Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer! They then picked a host of entries that made it into the calendar. As well as the winning entries, Joels included a new coloring page for each month of 2024 as well as all the key dates and more for the year ahead! All in all, making it a great gift idea throughout the month of December! The Colouring Calendars, priced at only €5, were well received by customers with some even purchasing multiples to give out to grandchildren, nieces and nephews as stocking fillers!

Commenting on the idea behind the Calendar, Niamh Fitzgerald, Director of the Louis Fitzgerald Family, said, ‘The idea of creating the Joels Colouring Calendar Book was twofold; We wanted to raise funds for a great organisation in BUMBLEance and also give our customers a really fun and useful gift idea for the family. BUMBLEance provides an incredible service to families throughout Ireland and of course, Joels is ultimately a family restaurant at heart. We felt this made us great partners and we look forward to supporting them again in the future”.
