Generous donation to TUH Nursing Staff

Presentation to TUH Staff

Members of the Irish Patchwork Society wanted to recognise the contribution of nursing colleagues on COVID wards during the pandemic and say thank you in their language.

In February of this year they started the star themed quilts with over 1,500 hours going into the production of the 31 quilts – each quilt represents a hug to say thank you ‘for being a star in the dark sky of the pandemic’.

Staff on Lynn and Ruttle Wards were very appreciative of this act of kindness and generosity. Your quilts and the sentiment behind them are beautiful.
