The prestigious Garda Band were on hand to entertain senior citizens across the county at the annual Golden Years Tea Party in the Rathcoole Community Centre. Local TD, Emer Higgins, joined members of the Rathcoole Community Council, Centre Manager Tricia Kellet and her team, as well as members of An Garda Siochana and senior citizens from Rathcoole, Newcastle, Clondalkin and Lucan at the event. Also present was well-known Garda Frank Howe who the community wish a speedy recovery to. The ever-popular local group, RAMs in Rhythm, also performed at the Golden Years Tea Party.
