South Dublin County Council’s, Dublin’s Outdoors announced that Gaelforce Dublin were the winners of the Best Sporting Event Award 2018. The Event Industry Awards ceremony was held on 20th July at Citywest Hotel.
Gaelforce asks participants to dig deep in a test of mental and physical strength on a course of running, cycling and kayaking over either 49km or 29km. The breakdown is a short run of 10-15km followed by a lengthy cycle on a Coillte forest gravel track, all the way to a reservoir where tandem kayaks will be waiting, before a final run to the finish line.
