Funding boost for Local Communities across South Dublin

The South Dublin Local Community Development Committee has approved funding totalling €355,330 to local and community groups across South Dublin.

The funding was made available under the Department of Rural and Community Development Community Enhancement Programme 2020 and administered by the South Dublin Local Community Development Committee.

Projects awarded funding include:

· Development/renovation of community centres

· Community and youth amenities

· Development of sports/recreation facilities

· Improvements to town parks and common areas and spaces

· CCTV equipment

· Public realm improvements

· Development of play/recreation spaces

· Energy efficiency type projects

· Purchase of equipment
