Local Councillor, Charlie O’Connor, has welcomed confirmation from South Dublin County Council of the initial schedule for the review of the County Development Plans.
The Council told Charlie O’Connor that:
” The review of the Development Plan is starting on 31st July. There will be a dedicated website which can be accessed through the SDCC website with all of the information on it. A newspaper notice will also be published. The public consultation will run from 31st July to 28th September inclusive. We will run a number of events and updates on social media to get people engaged including two webinars for the public. We intend to hold drop-in sessions in county hall but they will be by appointment due to the covid restrictions. We will also distribute hard copy issues booklets around the county, in libraries and post offices/shops if they will take them for us.”
According to Charlie O’Connor it is vital that the public engage in this important process and he also encouraged Organisations and Associations to become involved.
