Celebrate Holi in Doolally this March

Shloke Chhabra Doolally

Celebrate Holi in Doolally this March, India’s annual Hindu festival that welcomes the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and a season of new beginnings. Holi festival is synonymous with vibrant colour, joy and love, a chance for families and friends to gather together and celebrate relationships, feast, sing, dance and have fun, whilst recognising the eternal and divine love of god Radha Krishna.

From March 6th – 9th, Doolally will celebrate the ancient festival of Holi with a series of culinary specials created by Executive Head Chef Shloke Chhabra, as well as plenty of colour with venue décor, a brand new cocktail menu, and some special surprises.

Doolally’s seven Holi specials include Lamb Boti Kebab, Lucknow special lamb kebabs smoked and grilled In The Tandoor, Dahl Bhalla, lentil fritters soaked in yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutney, and a very special Home-style Chicken Curry, the recipe straight from the kitchen of Shloke’s mum (because no one makes it like Mum!). To finish, guests are encouraged to sample the specially created Indian dessert Sheer Khurma, a rich creamy silky pudding made with vermicelli and topped with toasted dry nuts.

Speaking about the Holi festival, Executive Chef Shloke Chhabra says ‘Holi is such a fun time to year to celebrate the new season, throw colour, and of course share great food. This year, my team and I have created some really special dishes that pay homage to this annual festival and that I hope will bring a taste of home to many’.

All festival specials are available exclusively between Monday March 6th and Thursday 9th March for dine in and takeaway / delivery, so make sure not to miss out on trying these dishes!

Bookings for the Holi Festival at Doolally can be made at doolally.ie or on (01) 533 7562.
