Applegreen Ballymount now offering M&S Food

Applegreen Ballymount opening

Applegreen, one of Ireland’s largest roadside retailers, has opened a new M&S Food shop within its existing location at Ballymount, Dublin 12. Located just off of Junction 10 on the M50, the opening of M&S Food at Ballymount marks the twelfth location for Applegreen’s highly successful partnership with M&S Food, with nine further M&S Food at Applegreen “shop-in-shop” stores planned for the end of this year. The addition of the M&S range in store involved a redevelopment of the Ballymount location and is part of Applegreen’s continuous development to bring the best customer experience on the road
to Irish customers.

The new Ballymount store will now offer over 400 M&S products, including Irish customers’ favourite M&S Food ranges such as fresh fruit and salads, Irish sandwiches, top quality fresh flowers and convenient lunch and dinner options. Popular M&S treats, such as Percy Pig sweets, M&S cookies, and Colin the Caterpillar cakes, will also be available on-site. Applegreen’s partnership with M&S Food complements the company’s leading roadside proposition in the Irish market and brings the M&S Food range to a wider Irish customer base. Applegreen Ballymount will also feature Click & Collect services for M&S Clothing and Home product ranges, providing customers with the convenience of ordering quality clothing, home and beauty essentials online at www.marksandspencer.com/ie, and collecting them in the new Ballymount store.

Mark Ryan, Head of M&S at Applegreen, said “We are delighted to continue the rollout of the M&S Food range across our Applegreen locations with this latest addition in Ballymount. This offering brings exciting new products and much-loved M&S classics to our customers who can enjoy top-quality products from a leading brand in store. Since the launch of Applegreen’s partnership with M&S last year, eleven stores nationwide have seen a very positive reaction from customers towards this new offering and we look forward to continuing to give our customers the best products and service.”

M&S Trading Director for Ireland and Northern Ireland Laura Harper, commented “I am delighted to see our partnership with Applegreen continue to flourish with the opening of the 12th store offering M&S Food to customers in Ballymount and the wider area. By rolling out this partnership, we are able to expand the M&S food footprint in Ireland to a wide range of customers, allowing us to bring quality and valued M&S products to more locations in Ireland. I am very proud to see M&S food products available for customers at the Ballymount store and look forward to seeing more locations open across Ireland over the coming months.”
