The #andshecycles campaign aims to increase the number of young women cycling in Ireland; the Ambassador Programme is a unique development of the campaign which enables and empowers young women to change the cycling culture in their school from within. At the ceremony attendees listened to a presentation on the latest cycling research from Green-Schools and were treated to a performance about cycling from comedian Elaine Gallagher.
