Amazon Dublin Celebrate Success

The team from Amazon’s fulfilment centre Dublin partied in style recently at The Clayton Hotel in Liffey Valley to celebrate a successful first six months of operations. At the party, guests enjoyed dinner, dancing and entertainment.

Amazon Dublin General Manager, Darragh Kelly, said: “The event gave us the opportunity to say a big thank you to our team for all their efforts over the previous six months. It’s fantastic to be able to celebrate our success with our brilliant team and in 2023, we are excited to continue delivering smiles to our customers across Ireland.”

Alex Donnelly, an employee at Amazon in Dublin who attended the party, added “We had a fantastic night celebrating our achievements in 2022 alongside colleagues and friends and everyone at Amazon in Dublin is looking forward to more of the same in the next 12 months.”

The Amazon fulfilment centre in Dublin, the first of its kind in Ireland, opened in August 2022. The 630,000 square foot centre at Baldonnell Business Park in Dublin holds millions of items that are picked, packed and shipped to customers across Ireland and the rest of Europe.
